MONCTON
The geographic centre of the Maritimes, Moncton is a thriving, growing urban hub that’s vibrant, culturally-diverse, and bilingual. The shops, pubs, and restaurants of its charming main street are within a stone’s throw of equally charming—and affordable—century homes. And culturally, the city is enjoying an explosion of creativity, progression, and adventure. No wonder people are moving here like nowhere else.

Meet Dr. Lucy Shen

Moncton is the perfect community to live, work, and play! It has all the amenities of a large city but the accessibility and friendliness of a smaller town. The family medicine program is well-established and supported by the hospital and community. Family physicians have a strong presence in the hospital, both in delivering full-spectrum care including managing their own in-patients, and in various leadership positions such as being the current chief of staff.
Here, you’re not just a number - the resident cohort is a small cohesive group with always one-on-one preceptor-styled teaching. Moncton is also central along Bay of Fundy, with fantastic opportunities for hiking and kayaking in national parks a short drive away. Whether you’re into a vibrant city scene or engaging in outdoor adventures, it’s easy to find something to suit every lifestyle.
